Briefing Us |
| We are usually supplied with a variety of reference material from which to work. A flat plan of the site is essential. After that, as many pictures or aerial photographs as possible help us to create the 3D views. If reference material isn't available, we are happy to do a photo survey ourselves although we do charge extra for this service. |
| The first step is to produce a flat plan of the site which is then blocked in simply in a 3D drawing programme. We can then rotate and print out the site from different angles so that the client can choose the best viewpoint. The final detail is drawn in a 2D programme. If a leaflet design is required this would be done in parallel with the plan drawing. The final file is a MacIntosh generated eps. or we can convert the file to any other compatible electronic format. We can take the project right through to print (in the case of leaflets or guides) or supply a CD with digital files should the job be incorporated into some other publication. |
| As well as print we can provide any other sort of output required; eps, film, slides, posters, signs etc . The computer generated files lend themselves particularly to infinite enlargement (for signs/posters etc) and the detail we put into the drawings looks good at any size. We can usually supply the final files in one, two, or four colour format. Our web publishing expertise enables us to either provide the maps in a suitable web format or we can create a mini web site visitors guide to slot into a larger site. |
| As you will appreciate, as every campus is different we can not provide a price list as such. However, we will be happy to provide you with an estimate, but will require the following information from you first. |
